One's perception and feelings may change. If a person is addicted to gambling, there's only one thing in a person's mind which is to play more. Quality time spent with family and friends are shortened by this habit. Financial and emotional problems will also evolve within the family circle which often can result to physical and verbal abuse. Continued fights in the family often leads to separation of couples and unfortunately children are the ones to suffer the most. A person who is involved with excessive gambling should seek psychological treatment. Family plays an important role in this kind of treatment. Their love, acceptance and forgiveness will boost the morale of the person and help change their perspective and help them to begin to focus on what is important and necessary.
